Patch Notes – The Classic L2 MIDNIGHT

Hello, community!

In this update, we continue to work on the evolution of the server, bringing improvements aimed at the progression of S80/Dynasty content, balance adjustments, and new features for event and reward systems.

Check below for all the changes in this update.

Craft of Epic Jewels and New Mechanics

We also implemented a new mechanic for the Epic Bosses.

From now on, the clan that deals the most damage to the Epic Boss will receive Epic Fragments as a reward, further encouraging competition for objectives and organized clan participation.

Important Information

• It is necessary to be in a Command Channel to properly participate in the distribution of fragments. Only the Clan of the Command Channel Leader will receive the reward.
• The Epic Fragments cannot be traded through common trade.
• Negotiations involving the fragments must be conducted exclusively through the Auction Manager.

This change was created to make the competition for Epic Bosses even more competitive, organized, and healthy for the endgame scenario.

We also added the Craft of Epic Jewels through the NPC Mysterious Shop, offering a new way for players to evolve.

Additionally, the Craft of Improved Epic Jewels S80 was added to the Mysterious Shop, further expanding the possibilities for endgame content progression.

Reminder: The Jewels come as +0.

Improvements in Events

The server events received improvements in their rewards (KTB+KOTH+TVT, etc...)

Added

• New currency Festival Adena, used in the craft of Improved Jewels and Epic Jewels.

Improvements in Farming Areas

We made adjustments in the farming areas to improve player progression.

Changes

• Increased item drop rates.
• Reduction in the number of farming areas, concentrating the content in a single area to increase movement, competitiveness, and disputes among players.

Olympiad

We made adjustments to the Olympiad.

Change

• Fixed the restriction on using S80 Dynasty equipment.

New Characters

We also made improvements to the initial experience of new characters.

Changes

• All new characters will start at level 76, allowing faster access to the main content of the server.
• The cost of class change quests (Jobs) has been reduced to just 1 Adena, making initial progression more accessible.

Grade S in the Shop

The Grade S equipment is now available through:

• GM Shop, using Adena and Midnight Coin.

GM Shop

New options have been added to the GM Shop.

New Features

• Gold Bar for Event Coin.
• Level 2 Tattoos added to the Donate Shop and the Mysterious Manager.

Improvements in Epic Bosses and Raid Bosses

The Epic Bosses and Raid Bosses received improvements in their rewards.

Added

• New exclusive currency: Epic Fragment.
• Dynasty Items added to the drops of Epic Bosses.
• New box added to the drops of Raid Bosses.

Party Zone

We made general adjustments to the drops in the Party Zone, providing an even better progression experience during the event.

Exchange NPC

We increased the amount of Ancient Adena (AA) obtained in exchanges of stones through the corresponding NPC.

Final Considerations
